The second-ranked Oregon Ducks shook off a sluggish start to overcome an early deficit and wrap up nonconference play unbeaten after a 48-14 victory over Wyoming in Autzen Stadium on Saturday.

Oregon Junior quarterback Marcus Mariota was named Walter Camp National Player of the Week and Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week in the wake of his 318-yard, three-touchdown passing performance that helped lift the Ducks over then-No. 7 Michigan State.


Royce Freeman leads the Ducks in rushing yards (164) and touchdowns (4) through the first two games.

Oregon Moves Up to #2 in AP Poll; Stays at #4 in Coaches Poll
(September 7, 2014, 10:00 pm) EUGENE, Ore. No. 3 Oregon 46-27 beat No. 7 Michigan State on Saturday, and the media came away impressed with the Ducks and their quarterback. (Video)

In the AP poll of media, Oregon moved up one spot to No. 2 this week. The Ducks received 16 first-place votes, and trailed No. 1 Florida State by 48 points, 1,463 to 1,415.

D.J. Foster rushed for 216 yards and Taylor Kelly threw for two touchdowns as the Arizona State University football team posted a strong second half to rout New Mexico, 58-23, on Saturday evening in Albuquerque, N.M.
